Russian River Brewing Company

Not your ordinary brewery, the Russian River Brewing Company knows beer. Located in downtown Santa Rosa, this brewery and microbrew pub specializes in creating handcrafted solid India pale ales and sour beers. Established in 1997 by Korbel Champagne Cellars of Guerneville, Brewer Vinnie Cilurzo took the role of brewmaster and had been experimenting with different flavors and processes for decades. Sample the brewery's best brews and try their year-round beers, barrel-aged beers, Belgian-inspired ales, limited releases, and Pliny The Younger Release. The pub menu features everything from small bites like Tomato Balsamic Bruschetta to bar favorites like wings and pizza. Enjoy a lively happy hour from 4 pm to 6:30 on weekdays.

What are the busiest times at Russian River?

Weekends at Russian River Brewery are jam-packed, especially over the summer and on holidays.  Expect a long line to get in, but it moved fast. The best times to visit are Monday through Thursday, non-holidays, and before or after happy hour.

Does Russian River fill growlers from other pubs?

Feel free to bring your non-Russian River growler, as long as they are blank 32 oz., 64 oz., and 2-liter growlers that are clean and of high quality. Brown glass, ceramic, and stainless steel with high-pressure closures are the best for beer. Please note that clear glass, green glass, plastic containers, and metal or plastic screwcaps are not to quality standards.
